The Graduate Center for Biomedical Engineering offers Master and Doctoral degrees in Biomedical Engineering. The program emphasizes the application of engineering principles to the areas of medicine and biology and covers the broad aspects of mechanics, fluids, mass transfer, instrumentation, signal processing, systems analysis, materials and laboratory experimentation. Seminar Series
The CBME sponsors a weekly seminar series in the Fall and Spring semesters. These seminars cover topics in biomedical engineering and related fields. Biomedical engineering graduate students are required to present a seminar as a part of their degree requirements.
